About

Ed is a “mature” undergraduate student undertaking a BA (Hons) Digital Media first-year course at the University of Stirling (in association with Forth Valley College).

He already holds a BA (Hons) in Theology from Highland Theological College, part of the University of the Highlands and Islands, and an MSc in Public Relations and Communications Management from the University of Stirling.

As part of a course requirement, he was required to make an audio-podcast series and has chosen to make a podcast about philosophers and thinkers – and about their research and ‘thoughts’.

The podcast: the dokeo podcast – from the Ancient Greek, δοκέω (dokéō), (pron. dock-e-oh), which means to expect, think, suppose, imagine, and to seem to someone, and to be thought by someone; and also means to be reputed, thus the podcast will be all about interviewing philosophy and thought leaders, about what they think, imagine and suppose.
